After giving a shout out to the season premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the good Reverend Vince Anderson and His Love Choir played to a boisterous Monday-night crowd. Hard not to smile and shake your hips to this spirited music while patchouli wafts from the audience. The band plays free every Monday night at Union Pool and has been for the past couple decades. And in case you were wondering, he is ordained (according to Wikipedia). I wonder if he’d officiate my future/hypothetical wedding… the reception after would surely be a blast as long as I invited the Love Choir, too.
