A Night At Glasslands Induces Flashbacks

After battling bitter winds (damn you NY winter for refusing to go away and shame on you Spring for being such a pussy), I found myself at Brooklyn venue Glasslands, where local band The Midnight Hollow transported me to a mystical place, and left me yearning for the desert and a fistful of peyote. Raw vocals, intoxicating rhythms and a stage presence that will put you over the edge, these guys are for real. A perfect combination of alchemy and Americana, they remind me of why The Doors are great — and it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that, like Morrison, front man Spencer Draeger could seduce the socks off a Rolling Stones photographer. See for yourself in videos of the performance and stay tuned to their Facebook page to find out where to see them next.
